Adult Individual Therapy

Oftentimes, we just want to be a better version of ourselves. We feel that something is missing and that we have not reached our potential. You may find yourself knowing what you need to change but feel stuck doing the same thing over and over again. You begin to realize that a lot of your relationships have similar patterns and that you want to feel more connected in your relationships.

My practice is broad, with people coming to therapy for many different reasons. Therapy is more than just an effective treatment for mental and emotional problems. Often we are faced with a personal crisis that requires insight and counseling from a professional. Therapy is individualized and private--it is a means to empower and improve your quality of life.

Child and Adolescent Individual Therapy

You may have noticed that your child’s behavior has changed or that he/she is struggling in school. As a parent, your child may be refusing to talk to you. You may be concerned that your child is isolating himself or seems “different.” You worry about your child’s influences from friends or the social environment.

I have a specialization in child development, developmental trauma, and attachment-based therapy. Drawing from multiple theories of child development, I utilize play therapy, CBT, EMDR, and hypnosis with children and adolescents.  In conjunction with individual therapy, I provide family therapy.

In addition to working with children who met the SED (seriously emotionally disturbed) criteria, I work with children who struggle with minor behavior and academic issues. I address attention and focus issues that impact academic performance and daily life. I can attend school meetings based on your needs and by your request. In conjunction to my child-centered approach, I work collaboratively with family, parents, and the school.

Therapy is a place for you to speak your truth.

Heal your wounds and build resilience.

Everything you seek is within you.
